Panama is only a couple
of degrees above the equator so sun
rise and set and the temperatures are
basically the same all year around.
However the rainfall and the humidity
change drastically throughout the months
of May - November with the highest rainfall
in September and October.
The seasons is Panama
run normally dry from Dec - April and
then May to November is the green season
where you will see rain in the afternoons
with beautiful blue skies in the AM.
The months of May, June, July, November
are transitional months and mean you
may see rain you may not. It is not
uncommon to have weeks without a touch
of rain!!
Every part of Panama
however has different seasons as the
Pacific is not the same as the Caribbean
weather in October.

Panama City is situated
at sea level and therefore the the climate
is warm and very humid and is often
compared to Miami. One thing you will
find when in Panama City is that there
is AC everywhere, Taxis, restaurants,
bars, hotels, it is everywhere. During
the peak sun times of 11am - 2pm it
is suggested to stay out of the sun
and also not to walk as you will sweat
a lot. However mornings and night are
very comfortable and shorts can be worn
all year around.
The Pacific Beach areas
are cooler as the Ocean breezes cool
the areas and the humidity level out
of the city is much lower. The Anton
valley and Chiriqui because they are
in the hills and mountains enjoy very
much cooler weather all year around,
however in the dry season the sun shines
all day!! As was said above the Caribbean
areas of Panama are different because
normally it is said, when it is good
on Pacific it is bad on the caribbean
and vice versa.
