The representative will provide you with a pouch that contains vouchers and information about your trip. From the airport you will be privately transported to the Country Inn & Suites Amador. This hotel has one of the best views of the Canal from it's Ocean view rooms. You can watch the liners and boats cruise up and down the canal 24 hours a day.

Day 2: In your own time you will get on a flight to the North of Panama City until you reach the Caribbean Coast where you will land at one of the Kuna Indian Islands. After disembarking you will be met a Kuna Indian (indigenous people of the San Blas Islands) who will canoe you in a dug out canoe to the Dolphin island where your will stay at Dolphin Lodge. Here you will enjoy being surrounded by the local indigenous tribe of the Kuna.

After settling in, breakfast will be served at the Bohio dining room. Lunch and dinner will feature delicious, fresh seafood from the area (please let us know if you cannot eat seafood). Upon arrival you will be taken across the stretch to the native Kuna Island to meet the local people and see their way of life and traditions.

Day 3 - 5: Over the next 3 days you get to interact with the Kuna and understand their 'old way' of life that has been existent for hundreds of years.

There are a variety of tours in the area such as snorkeling, kayaking, visiting neighboring beaches, however a great tour is a visit to the Kuna cemetery to watch their morning rituals. The Kuna are very private people and if you wish to photograph them you must ask their permission before hand and usually a donation of a $1 is adequate. One thing that the Kuna are famous for is the 'molas' that they produce that must be bought when there. Stay at Dolphin Lodge.

Day 6: You have now lived and breathed like a Kuna Indian, however the Kuna are only one tribe within Panama and you will have the opportunity to see an Embera Indian Village and its inhabitants. Take a flight back to Panama City where you will be transported to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort.

Day 7-8 : On one of these days choose to take the Embera Indian Chagres River Tour. Here you will be transported via a dug out canoe to the National Park where a native Embera Indian village is situated. During your visit you are welcome to have your back painted as the Emberá Indians do, with a natural fruit dye called Jagua which a souvenir like no other, which last for about 10 to 14 days. You will also have the opportunity to view handicrafts made right before your eyes by the locals. The communities have their own local botanical doctors who will help cure any illness you have naturally. Also after lunch you will have the opportunity to dance Embera style! Stay at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort.

Day 9 :End your Native stay in Panama with a Folkloric Dinner and Dance. Here you will dine the evening away at one of Panama's most authentic restaurants and enjoy and an evening of Panamanian dancing. Stay at the Country Inn & Suites Amador.
