Tropic Star Lodge is paradise placed into the site of the mountains jungle with magnificent ocean views all around. The Lodge is 120 miles south of Panama City and the great thing about it is that there is no road nearby for 100 miles. Therefore the only way to get there is by plane or boat!!

The rooms are warmly decorated and are sectioned into Bungalows. Each room has air-conditioned, with a beautiful view of Pinas Bay all around, twin beds (king size on request) and private bath/dressing room areas. The cabins have surrounding porches with chairs to relax and watch the Pacific sunset.

The hotel however is most famous for the best sports fishing in Panama.

The hotel has a total of 80 staff for a maximum of 36 people at all times, so service is personal. The hotel offers a fresh water pool with ocean views, trails down to the white sanded beaches and all over the jungle.

Weekly bookings consist of a 31-foot Bertram with captain and mate, six days of fishing (Sunday through Friday), seven nights lodging, and three meals a day, plus all fishing tackle. Arrangements for less than a week can be made after May 31, or on short notice due to cancellations during the prime time season of December through May.
